Synopsis

A tragic accident on Colorado’s icy Loveland Pass leaves working mom Lillie a near-destitute widow, now solely responsible for raising three children while trying to keep her career intact. Her husband’s sudden death changes everything about the life she knew. Lillie is now left alone to pick up the pieces as she must dig deep into her resources for income by renting out the family’s Texas summer lake house. While trying to put her fractured and fragile family back together, she hadn’t anticipated that a series of secrets had been lying in wait at the lake. They put her family in danger and cause Lillie to question everything about the man she spent twenty years building a life with.

Filled with emotional tension and choices, themes of motherhood, friendship, striving to hold on to a career, and questions about love, both past and future.

Good at Keeping Secrets is Linda Paul's first novel. She currently has the manuscript out for query, seeking an agent and publisher.
